NSU Pony (1937-53)

The NSU Pony was a popular motorcycle produced from 1937 to 1953, with 250,000 units made. It had a single cylinder, 2-stroke engine with a capacity of 97 cc and a bore x stroke of 49 x 52 mm. The engine was air/oil cooled with dry sump lubrication and used a 1:25 oil fuel mixture. The clutch was a multi-plate friction clutch, and it had kick start ignition, and a Pradnico-magneto flywheel 6V, 15W Bosch or Noris.
