Norton V4 RR (2017)

The Norton V4 RR (2017) is a high-performance motorcycle with a four-stroke, 1200cc engine and a 72-degree V4 cylinder configuration that includes a slipper clutch, titanium inlet valves, and chain-driven cams. It has an impressive power output of 200hp at 12,500rpm and a torque of 130Nm at 10,000rpm. The V4 RR is fully compliant with Euro 4 regulations, including oil thermostat, knock sensors, secondary air injection, and EVAP. The electronic aids on this motorcycle include a multi-setting traction-control, wheelie control, launch control, and cruise control, and it uses a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for precise control and data-logging of lap times, max lean angle, max speed, max throttle, and max braking force. It has a full-color 7-inch HD display with adjustable engine modes (Road, Track, and Pro-Race) and is equipped with a quickshift system and auto down blipper for smooth transmission. The chassis is a cast twin-tube shotgun design with fully-adjustable swingarm pivot, adjustable rake angle, and a braced and underslung single-sided cast swingarm. The front suspension uses Ohlins NIX30 with cast top and bottom fork yokes, while the rear suspension uses bespoke fully-adjustable Ohlins TTXGP Norton shock with billet machined fork yokes. The front brakes are 2 x 330mm full-floating discs with Brembo monobloc calipers and master cylinder, while the rear brake uses a single 330mm disc with Brembo caliper and master cylinder. It has forged aluminum wheels, a wheelbase of 1430mm, and a dry weight of 179kg. The Norton V4 RR is a cutting-edge motorcycle that boasts impressive specs and advanced technology.
