The MV Agusta 125 Turismo was produced from 1948-49 with approximately 2000 units manufactured. It has a two-stroke, single cylinder engine with a capacity of 125 cc and a compression ratio of 6.2:1. The carburettor is 16 mm and lubrication is an 8% mixture. Ignition is via a flywheel magneto and it has a kickstart. The motorcycle has a maximum power output of 3.5 kW or 4.8 hp at 4500 rpm. It has a wet multiple plate clutch with a 3-speed transmission and chain final drive. The frame is a closed tubular steel cradle and front suspension is girder forks with a telescopic fork on the Lusso model. The rear suspension is a swingarm with mechanical shocks. Brakes are 125mm drums front and rear with tyres sized at 2.75-19 for the front and 3.00-19 for the rear. The motorcycle weighs 75 Kg or 165.3 lbs with a fuel capacity of 12 litres or 3.1 US gallons.
