The Moto Guzzi Quota 1000 was a motorcycle produced from 1989 to 1992. It was powered by a four-stroke, V-twin, longitudinally mounted, OHV engine with a displacement of 948.8cc. The engine had two valves per cylinder and was air-cooled. Fuel injection was provided by Weber-Marelli, and ignition was digital CDI. The motorcycle had an electric starter, a double-disc dry clutch, and a five-speed transmission. Final drive was via shaft. The front suspension used adjustable 41.7mm Marzocchi forks, while the rear suspension had a single adjustable shock for preload rebound and compression damping. The front brakes were dual 280mm discs with four-piston calipers, and the rear brake had a single 260mm disc with a one-piston caliper. The front and rear tires were 90/90-2 1 and 130/80-17, respectively. The seat height was 865mm, and the dry weight was 210kg. The fuel tank could hold 20 litres of fuel, giving the motorcycle an average consumption of 18.3km/kit. The Quota 1000 could go from 0 to 60 km/h in 14.6 meters and reach a quarter-mile time of 13.0 seconds with a top speed of 191.1 km/h.
