The Maico F100 Piccolo or Derby is a motorcycle produced from 1934 to 1939. It has a single cylinder, two-stroke Fichtel & Sachs engine with a capacity of 98 cc and a maximum power of 1.8 kW or 2.5 hp. The cooling system is air-cooled and the fuel system uses a Fichtel & Sachs carburetor. The starting mechanism is a cycling pedal type, and the transmission is a 2-speed with a gearshift on the tank. The final drive is through a chain. The frame is a dual front tube, closed construction with dual coil spring front suspension and no rear suspension, only a spring-loaded saddle. Both front and rear brakes are drums with a diameter of 125 mm. The front and rear tires are 2.25 x 26 inches. The wet weight of the motorcycle is approximately 58 kg or 128 lbs, and it has a top speed of 60 km/h or 37 mph.
