Magni Giappone 52 (1997)

The Magni Giappone 1000 motorcycle was produced in 1997 with a four-stroke, 90-degree transverse V-twin engine that has a capacity of 1064cc/64.9 cu-in. The bike has a bore x stroke of 92 x 80 mm and is air-cooled with a compression ratio of 9.5:1. It is powered by a Weber Marelli ignition system with an electric start and has a maximum power output of 90 hp/66 kW at 7800 rpm and a maximum torque of 96 Nm/9.7 kgf-m at 6000 rpm. The transmission is a 5-speed with a final drive of a shaft. The front suspension is a telescopic fork with adjustable spring preload and hydraulic compression rebound, while the rear suspension is double rear arms “Parallelogrammo” patented by Magni with a single absorber that has adjustable preload rebound and compression. The bike has front brakes of 2x 320mm discs with 4 piston calipers and rear brakes of a single 230mm disc with a 2 piston caliper. Its front and rear tires have a size of 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17, respectively. The dry weight of the motorcycle is 190 kg/418.8 lbs, and its fuel capacity is 17 liters/4.4 US gal.
