Laverda 250 Chatt (1976)

The Laverda 250 Chatt (1976) was a two-stroke single-cylinder motorcycle with a 247 cc engine and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. It had a 32mm Dell’Orto carburetor and Borsch electronic ignition, producing a maximum power of 30 hp at 7000 rpm. The bike had a 5-speed transmission and a chain final drive. It weighed 107.5 kg and had a fuel capacity of 9.1 litres. The front suspension consisted of Marzocchi forks, while the rear suspension was a Singling fork with gas shocks. The bike had 180mm drum brakes both at the front and rear. The front and rear tires were respectively 3.00-21 and 4.00-18 in size. Overall, the Laverda 250 Chatt was a lightweight, powerful, and relatively small motorcycle, ideal for city cruising and agile manoeuvring.
