The Laverda 1000 3C motorcycle was produced in 1975-76 with a four stroke transverse three cylinder engine that had a capacity of 980cc. It was equipped with 3x 32mm Dell’Orto PHF carburetors and a Bosch electronic ignition, and had a maximum power of 78hp at 7250 rpm and a maximum torque of 86 Nm at 5000 rpm. The motorcycle had a 5-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The front suspension was telescopic, while the rear suspension was a swinging fork. Front brakes consisted of 2x 280mm discs with 2 piston calipers, while the rear brake was a drum. The motorcycle weighed 214 kg and had a fuel capacity of 20.5 liters, with an average consumption of 40 mpg. The top speed of the Laverda 1000 3C was 123 mph.
