The KTM lc4 690 Supermoto R was introduced in 2008 and features a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 653.7 cc. It has a liquid-cooled system and a compression ratio of 11.7:1. The bike is powered by a Kokusan DC-CDI ignition and a 12V, 8.6Ah battery, with starting made easy through the electric starter.
