KTM 990 Adventure (2013-14)

The KTM 990 Adventure is a four-stroke, V-twin cylinder motorcycle available from 2013 to 2014 with a liquid cooling system and a forced oil lubrication with 3 rotor pumps. The engine has a capacity of 1195 cc and a compression ratio of 12.5:1, producing a maximum power of 147.5 hp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 92.2 lb-ft at 7500 rpm. It features a wet multi-disc clutch, hydraulically operated and has a 6-speed transmission. The chain 5/8 x 5/16″ X Ring final drive links the primary gear ratio of 40:76 and secondary gear ratio of 17:42. The bike is built with a tubular space frame made from chrome molybdenum steel and powder-coated. The front suspension consists of 48mm WP USD forks, while the rear suspension is a WP-PDS rear shock with hydraulic spring preload. The wheelbase is 1600 mm, and the seat height ranges from 861 mm to 876 mm. The ground clearance is 220 mm, and the dry weight of the bike is 217 kg. The fuel capacity is 23 litres or 6.08 US gal.
