The KTM 250 EXC Enduro motorcycle was manufactured in 2005-06 and comes equipped with a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 249cc. The engine is liquid-cooled and lubricated with two-stroke oil, mixed in a ratio of 1:40-1:60. It uses EFI induction and a Kokusan 2K-3 ignition system. The bike has a kick start and a wet, multiplate, hydraulically operated clutch. The transmission is five-speed with a primary drive ratio of 25:72, and gear ratios of 1st 14:30, 2nd 17:26, 3rd 19:23, 4th 20:20, and 5th 29:23. The final drive ratio is 13:40 and uses a chain, 5/8″ x 1/4″. The central chrome-moly-steel frame combines with WP Extreme 48mm upsidedown fork front suspension, and WP Progressive Damping System shock absorber, aluminium swingarm rear suspension. The front brake is a single 260mm floating caliper disc, and the rear brake is a single 220mm floating caliper disc. The bike has a steering head angle of 63.5o, a wheelbase of 1475mm, a ground clearance of 385mm, and a seat height of 925mm.
