KTM 250 EXC Enduro (1999-00)

The KTM 250 EX/C Enduro motorcycle was produced from 1999-2000 and is powered by a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 249cc. The engine uses a 1:50-1:60 mix of two-stroke oil and utilizes the Kokusan 2K-1 CDI induction with an NGK BR 8 ECM spark plug. The electronic ignition is kick-started and capable of reaching a max power of 12.7 kW / 17 hp at 7400 rpm.

The motorcycle features a wet, multiplate clutch and a 5-speed transmission with gear ratios of 1st 15:29, 2nd 18:26, 3rd 19:22, 4th 21:20, and 5th 23:18. The final drive is through a chain with a ratio of 14:50. The frame is a central chrome-moly-steel frame and has front suspension by WP Extreme 50 mm upsidedown forks with a wheel travel of 280 mm / 11.0 in, and rear suspension through a WP Progressive Damping System shock absorber and aluminum swingarm, with a wheel travel of 320 mm / 12.6 in.

The braking system consists of a single 260 mm disc with a floating caliper in the front and a single 220 mm disc with a floating caliper in the rear. The front wheel uses a 90/90-21″ 54R tire while the rear wheel uses a 140/80-18″ 70R tire. The motorcycle has a steering head angle of 63.5o, a wheelbase of 1481 mm / 58.3 in, a ground clearance of 385 mm / 15 in, and a seat height of 925 mm / 36.4 in.
