KTM 1290 Super Adventure T (2017-18)

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure T is a touring bike manufactured in 2017-18 with a 1301cc four-stroke, 75-degree V-twin cylinder engine that can produce up to 160hp and 103.7 lb-ft of torque. The bike features a liquid cooling system, continuous circulation of cooling liquid, forced oil lubrication with three oil pumps, and two Keihin EFI 52mm throttle bodies. It also uses a Keihin EMS with RBW and cruise control, double ignition, and a fully electronic ignition system with digital ignition timing adjustment.

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure T comes with a PASC(c) anti-hopping clutch/ hydraulically operated clutch, a 6-speed transmission with a chain final drive, a tubular space frame made from chrome molybdenum steel, and a WP semi-active suspension USD 48 mm front suspension with 200mm (7.9in) wheel travel. The rear suspension uses a shock absorber WP Semi-active Suspension PDS Monoshock with the same 200mm wheel travel.
