KTM 1050 Adventure R (2017)

The KTM 1090 Adventure R is a 2017 motorcycle with a four-stroke, 75 degrees V-twin cylinder, DOHC engine capable of 1050 cc / 64.0 cu-in. It has a liquid cooling system, continuous circulation of cooling liquid with a water pump, forced oil lubrication with 3 rotor pumps, and EFI, ride by wire induction. At 8500 rpm, the bike can reach a maximum power of 125 hp / 91.2 kW, and at 6500 rpm, it can reach a torque of 109 Nm / 80.4 lb.-ft. The motorcycle has a 6-speed transmission, chain x-ring 5/8 x 5/16” final drive, and a slippery clutch, hydraulically actuated PASC. The frame is made of chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame and is powder-coated. The front suspension is 48mm WP Suspension Up-Side-Down, and the front wheel travel is 220 mm / 8.7 in. The rear suspension is WP-PDS Monoshock, and the rear wheel travel is 220 mm / 8.7 in. The front brakes feature 2x320mm discs 4 piston calipers, and the rear brakes include a single 267mm disc 2 piston caliper. It also includes Bosch 9M+ Two-channel ABS (incl. off-road mode, disengageable) as well as 90/90 R21 Continental TKC 80 Twinduro for the front tyre and 150/70 R18 Continental TKC 80 Twinduro for the rear tyre. Its wheelbase is 1580 mm / 62.2 in with a seat height of 890 mm / 35.0 in, and a ground clearance of 250 mm / 9.8 in. Its dry weight is 207 kg / 456.4 lbs, and its fuel capacity is 23 Litres / 6.08 gal.
