Kawasaki ZZR1400 (2008)

The 2008 Kawasaki ZZR1400 motorcycle has a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 1441 cc. It has a 12.3:1 compression ratio and a liquid cooling system to keep the engine operating smoothly. The DFI with four 44mm Mikuni throttle bodies are used for induction and the TCBI with Digital Advance provides ignition. It has a maximum power of 142 kW/193 hp at 9500 rpm, with the max power ram air producing 149.5 kW/203 hp at the same rpm. It also produces a maximum torque of 154 Nm/15.7 kg-fm at 7500 rpm.

The front brakes use two 310mm discs with four-piston calipers, while the rear brakes have a single 250mm disc with two-piston calipers. The motorcycle uses a 120/70 ZR17 front tyre and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tyre. It has a ground clearance of 125 mm and a wet weight of 264 kg.

The motorcycle can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0-140km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 303.6 km/h. Its dimensions are length 2169 mm, width 759 mm, and height 1180 mm, with a wheelbase of 1461 mm and a seat height of 800 mm. It has a fuel capacity of 22 litres/5.8 gallons.
