The Kawasaki ZX-R 250 Ninja was a sporty motorcycle produced between 1997-98. It had a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 249cc and a liquid cooling system, capable of producing a maximum power of 45hp at 15000rpm and a maximum torque of 2.6 kgf-m at 11500rpm. The bike had a wet, multi-disc, manual, cable-actuated clutch and a six-speed transmission with a final drive of a chain. The frame was made of perimeter, pressed aluminum and had a front suspension of telescopic forks and a rear suspension of Uni-track, swing arm. The front and rear brakes were respectively 2x discs 2 piston calipers and a single disc 1 piston caliper. The Kawasaki ZX-R 250 Ninja had a wheelbase of 1360mm, seat height of 735mm, and a ground clearance of 141mm with a dry weight of 141kg. The motorcycle had a fuel capacity of 15 litres and had a top speed of about 170 km/h. It had good stability and maneuverability due to 24 degrees rake and 85mm trail. The Kawasaki ZX-R 250 Ninja was offered in a stylish design with a sporty look and was a popular choice among young riders.
