Kawasaki ZR (1993-95)

The Kawasaki ZR-X 400, produced between 1993 and 1995, is a four-stroke parallel twin-cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 399 cc. It has 2 valves per cylinder and a liquid-cooled cooling system with a compression ratio of 11.2:1. Its induction system is equipped with 4x Keihin CVK30 carburetors, while the ignition system consists of both a battery and coil. The motorcycle features electric starting and a 6-speed transmission with a wet multi-disc clutch. The ZR-X 400 has a maximum power of 62 hp at 11500 rpm and maximum torque of 37 Nm at 9000 rpm. Its front suspension system is made up of 39mm RWU telescopic forks, while the rear suspension system is built with dual shocks preload adjustment. The motorcycle has front brakes consisting of 2x 298mm discs with 6-piston calipers, and a single 240mm disc with 2-piston caliper for the rear brakes. It uses a chain for final drive, and its front and rear tires are 110/80-17 and 150/70-18 respectively. The ZR-X 400 has a wheelbase of 1450 mm and a seat height of 780 mm, with a ground clearance of 120 mm. It weighs 186 kg and can hold up to 16 liters of fuel.
