Kawasaki ZN1200 Voyager (1987-89)

The Kawasaki ZG 1300 Voyager was produced from 1987-1989 and featured a liquid-cooled four-stroke transverse four-cylinder engine. The capacity was 1286cc with a bore and stroke of 62 x 71 mm and a compression ratio of 9.3:1. The engine had Mikuni fuel injection and produced a maximum power of 130 hp at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 118 Nm at 6500 rpm. The transmission had five speeds and the final drive was a shaft. The frame was a double-downtube, full-cradle frame with a box-section steel swing arm. The front suspension had 41mm Kayaba air adjustable forks and the rear suspension had dual Kayaba shocks that were fully adjustable. Brakes consisted of 2x 266mm discs with a single piston caliper for the front and a single 296mm disc with a single piston caliper for the rear. The front tire was a 130/90-16 and the rear tire was a 150/90-15. The seat height was 757 mm and the dry weight was 324 kg while the wet weight was 417 kg. The fuel capacity was 27 liters and the average consumption was 34 mpg. The standing 1/4 mile time was 13.1 seconds with a top speed of 233.3 km/h or 145 mph.
