Kawasaki ZN1200 Voyager (1986-88)

The Kawasaki ZN1300 Voyager was a motorcycle produced from 1986-88. It had a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1286 cc and a compression ratio of 9.3:1. The engine, which was DOHC and had 4 valves per cylinder, was controlled by Mikuni fuel injection and had a battery-powered transistorized ignition. It was capable of producing a maximum power of 96.9 kW and a torque of 118 Nm. The motorcycle had a 5-speed transmission with a shaft final drive and had a box-section steel swing arm. The front suspension was 41mm Kayaba air-adjustable forks, while the rear suspension was dual Kayaba shocks that were fully adjustable. The front brakes were 2x 266mm discs with a 1 piston caliper, and the rear brake was a single 296mm disc with a 1 piston caliper. The tires were 130/90-16 in the front and 150/90-15 in the rear, and the seat height was 757 mm. The dry weight of the motorcycle was 324 kg, and the fuel capacity was 27 litres. The Kawasaki ZN1300 Voyager had a top speed of 145 mph and could achieve 34 mpg on average. The standing 1/4 mile was completed in 13.1 seconds at 100 mph.
