The Kawasaki Zephyr 750 was produced from 1992-93 and was equipped with a four stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 738 cc. The engine had a bore x stroke of 66 x 54 mm, was air-cooled, and had a compression ratio of 9.5:1. Induction was provided by 4x 32mm Keihin carburetors and ignition was analogue CDI. The motorcycle produced a maximum power of 71 hp at 9500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 56.8 Nm at 7300 rpm. The clutch was wet, multiple discs, and cable-operated, with a 5-speed transmission and final drive via chain. The front suspension featured 41mm telescopic forks without adjustment, while the rear suspension used dual gas shocks that were adjustable for preload, rebound, and compression. The braking system included 2x 300mm discs with 2 piston calipers at the front and a single 230mm disc with 1 piston caliper at the rear. The motorcycle weighed 201 kg dry and 220 kg wet, had a fuel capacity of 17 liters, and its average fuel consumption was 16.5 km per liter. Braking from 60-0 and 100-0 took 13.4 m and 38.0 m, respectively. The bike could reach a top speed of 202.1 km/h, with a standing 1/4 mile time of 12.2 seconds at a speed of 170.0 km/h.
