Kawasaki Z900LTD (1976)

The Kawasaki Z 900LTD motorcycle was produced in 1976, powered by a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC, 2 valve per cylinder engine with a capacity of 903 cc / 55.1 cu-in. The bike had an air-cooled cooling system, a compression ratio of 8.5:1, and a wet sump, trachoid pump lubrication. The air filtration system was treated synthetic fiber, and the induction was 4x 26mm Mikuni VM26SS. The ignition was a mechanical breaker dual lead coil, and the bike started through an electric mechanism. The Kawasaki Z 900LTD produced a maximum power of 82 hp / 59.8 kW at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 73.5 Nm / 52.8 lb-ft at 7000 rpm. The bike had a wet, multi-plate clutch and a five-speed transmission with a chain final drive.
