In 1985, the Kawasaki Z440 LTD motorcycle was released. This motorcycle came equipped with a four-stroke, parallel twin cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve per cylinder engine with a capacity of 443cc/27.0 cu-in. This engine had a compression ratio of 9.2:1 and was cooled by air. The Z440 LTD was powered through 2x 32mm Keihin carburetors and a battery-powered coil ignition. The dimensions of the motorcycle were 2070mm/81.5 in in length, 775mm/30.5 in in width, and 1070mm/42.1 in in length, with a wheelbase of 1370mm/53.9 in and a ground clearance of 125mm/4.9 in. The dry weight of the motorcycle was 166 kg/366 lbs and it had a fuel capacity of 14 litres/3.6 US gal.
