The Kawasaki Z250LTD was a four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve per cylinder motorcycle produced from 1983-85. It had a 248 cc capacity, a bore and stroke of 70 x 64mm, and was air cooled. The compression ratio was 8.9:1 and it had a carburetor induction system with battery ignition and an electric starter. The Z250LTD could reach a maximum power of 19 hp and torque of 18 Nm, with a 5-speed transmission and chain final drive. The front suspension was telescopic forks and the rear suspension was dual shocks, with both front and rear brakes being drum brakes. Tyres were 2.75-18 for the front and 4.60-16 for the rear, with a wet weight of 143 kg and fuel capacity of 8 litres or 2.1 US gallons.
