The Kawasaki S2 350SS MKII was produced between 1973 and 1974. It had a two-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 346cc and was air-cooled. The bore and stroke measurements were 53 x 52.3mm with a compression ratio of 7.3:1. It had 3x Mikuni VM24SC, 24mm carburetors for induction and a battery and coil ignition system. The motorcycle had a kickstart and could reach up to 45hp at 8000rpm with maximum torque of 30.7 lb-ft at 7000rpm. It had a five-speed transmission with a chain final drive.
For the frame, the Kawasaki S2 350SS MKII used double cradle tubular construction with telescopic hydraulic forks for the front suspension and a swingarm with dual shocks for the rear. The front and rear brakes measures 180mm drums, and the front and rear tires were 3.00-18 and 3.50-18, respectively. The motorcycle had a trail of 109mm and it was 2010mm in length, 1095mm in width, and 800mm in seat height. The Kawasaki S2 350SS MKII had a dry weight of 151kg and a fuel capacity of 14 litres or 3.7 US gallons.
