The Kawasaki Ninja 500R (2005-06) is a motorcycle with a four-stroke, parallel twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 498cc. It has a liquid cooling system with a compression ratio of 10.8:1 and is lubricated with semi-synthetic, 10W/40 engine oil. It uses 2x Keihin CVK34 carburetors and TCI (Transistor Controlled Ignition) for ignition with NGK DR9EA spark plugs. The maximum power of the bike is 60 hp at 9800 rpm with a maximum torque of 46.1 Nm at 8500 rpm. The clutch is a wet, multiple disc type, and is cable operated.
