The Kawasaki KMX 125 was a two-stroke, single cylinder motorcycle produced from 1994-1996. Its engine had a capacity of 124cc and a bore x stroke of 54×54.4mm. The bike had a liquid-cooled system, a compression ratio of 7.8:1, and was carbureted with a CDI ignition. It could be started with a kick and had a maximum power output of 22 hp at 9500 rpm with a max torque of 1.7 kgf-m at 9000 rpm. The KMX 125 had a 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The front suspension system used telescopic forks with 230mm of wheel travel, while the rear suspension used a swing arm with the same amount of wheel travel. The bike had a single 230mm disc brake in the front and a single 210mm disc brake in the rear. Its front and rear tires measured 2.75-21 and 4.10-18 respectively. The Kawasaki KMX 125 had a wheelbase of 1375mm, a seat height of 865mm, and weighed 96 kg with a fuel capacity of 9.3 liters.
