The Kawasaki KLE 250 motorcycle was produced in the year 1993 and was equipped with a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder engine with a capacity of 248cc. It had a bore x stroke of 62 x 42.2mm and a liquid cooling system with a compression ratio of 12.4:1. The bike was lubricated by a wet sump and ran on a 2x 34mm Keihin carburetor with CDI ignition and electric start. Its maximum power was 35 horsepower at 1000rpm and maximum torque was 2.4kgf-m at 10000rpm. The clutch was wet, multi-disc and it featured a 6-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The suspension consisted of 41mm telescopic forks on the front with air assistance and a steel swinging arm with preload adjustment on the rear. The bike was equipped with single 300mm disc front brakes and single 230mm disc rear brakes with a front tyre of 3.00-19 and a rear tyre of 120/80 VR17. The rake angle was 27 degrees with a trail of 104mm, and the wheelbase measured 1415mm with a seat height of 805mm and a ground clearance of 270mm. The bike weighed 145kg and had a fuel capacity of 12 litres or 3.7 US gallons.
