The Kawasaki H1 500 Mach III motorcycle was produced between 1970-71 and had a powerful two-stroke, transverse three cylinder, piston valve engine with a capacity of 498cc. It had an air-cooling system, compression ratio of 6.8:1 and a 3x Mikuni VM28SC carburetor induction. The CDI ignition and kick start offered a maximum power of 60 hp / 45 kW @ 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 56 Nm / 42.3 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm. The clutch is a wet multi-disc transmission and has a 5-speed transmission with a final drive of chain. Its dry weight is 174 kg / 384 lbs and wet weight is 188 kg / 414 lbs. It has a standing 1/4 mile of 12.4 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h / 124 mph. In terms of fuel, it has a capacity of 15 litres / 4.0 US gal.
