Kawasaki GTR1000 (1994-96)

The Kawasaki GTR1000, also known as the ZG 1000 Concours, was produced from 1994 to 1996. It features a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 997cc and a compression ratio of 10.2:1. The induction system uses four 32mm Keihin CV carburetors, and ignition is electronic. The bike has a maximum power output of 110 horsepower at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 kgf-m at 6500 rpm. The transmission is a six-speed, and the final drive is via a shaft. The front suspension is 41mm telescopic, air-assisted adjustable preload, with a travel of 140mm, while the rear suspension is UNI-TRAK with adjustable preload, rebound damping, and air pressure and has the same travel. The bike has two 272mm discs with one-piston calipers for the front brake and a single 280mm disc with one-piston caliper for the rear brake. It has a rake of 28 degrees and a trail of 100 mm, a wheelbase of 1554 mm, and a seat height of 797 mm. The dry weight is 270 kg, and the wet weight is 296.0 kg, with a fuel capacity of 28.5 liters. The bike has an average fuel consumption of 14.0 km/lit and can reach a top speed of 216 km/h and a standing 1/4 mile of 11.7 sec at 180.7 km/h. The bike is capable of efficient braking with a 60-0 time of 15.1 meters and a 100-0 time of 39.8 meters.
