Kawasaki GPZ400S (1986-87)

The Kawasaki GPz 400S was a motorcycle produced between 1986 and 1987. It had a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder, DOHC engine, with a capacity of 399cc and a compression ratio of 10.7:1. The bike had a liquid cooling system and was equipped with 4x Kelhin CVM30 carburetors, and had an ignition CDI system with electric starting. The GPz 400S produced a maximum power output of 50 horsepower at 10500 rpm and maximum torque of 3.6 kgf-m at 9000 rpm. The transmission was a six-speed system with a wet multi-disc clutch, and the final drive was a chain system. The frame of the motorcycle was a tubular double-cradle design made of aluminum. The bike had telescopic forks for front suspension and a swing arm for rear suspension. It had a single disk brake at the front and a single drum brake in the rear. The GPz 400S had a seat height of 770mm and weighed 169kg, with a fuel capacity of 15 liters. It had a front tire size of 100/90-16 and a rear tire size of 120/90-16.
