The Kawasaki GPz 1000RX is a motorcycle produced in 1986, with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine, and 997cc capacity. With 4 valves per cylinder, its bore x stroke measure 74 x 58 mm, and it has a liquid cooling system with a compression ratio of 10.2:1. The bike uses 4x Keihin CVK36 carburetors and TCI (Transistor Controlled Ignition) for its ignition, as well as an electric starter. The bike was tested in a group test by Motosprint in 1987.
