The Kawasaki EN 500 Vulcan (or VN 500) was a motorcycle produced from 1992-1993. It had a four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC engine with 498cc capacity and a liquid cooling system, along with a 10.2:1 compression ratio and wet sump lubrication. The induction utilized 2x Keihin CVK34 carburetors and ignition was via coil. The motorcycle had a max power of 60 hp at 9800 rpm (with rear tire at 54.2 hp) and a max torque of 46 Nm at 8500 rpm. The EN 500 also had a wet plate clutch and 6-speed transmission with a final drive via belt. The front suspension was comprised of 36mm telescopic forks, while the rear utilized dual shocks that were preload adjustable.
