Husqvarna WR 250 (1987-90)

The Husqvarna WR 250 motorcycle was made from 1987 to 1990 and had a two-stroke, single cylinder engine with a capacity of 239cc. It had a liquid-cooled cooling system, compression ratio of 12.3:1, and a 38mm Mikuni TMX carburetor. The CDI ignition system was kick-started and produced a maximum power of 17 horsepower at 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 12.4.

The bike had a six-speed transmission with a final drive chain and was equipped with telescopic forks for the front suspension and a single shock with adjustable damping for the rear suspension. The front brakes were a single 240mm disc and the rear brakes were a 130mm drum. The bike had a 3.00-21 front tire and a 4.50 – 18 rear tire with a wheelbase of 1450 mm and a seat height of 890 mm.

The dry weight of the bike was 106.0 kg with a fuel capacity of 10.5 liters. Overall, the Husqvarna WR 250 was a lightweight and powerful off-road motorcycle with a tried and tested two-stroke engine that was designed for motocross and enduro racing. It was well regarded for its excellent handling and braking performance, making it a popular choice among dirt bike enthusiasts.
