The Husqvarna TE 250 motorcycle was produced from 2002-03 and had a four-stroke, single-cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 249cc. It had liquid cooling and a 12.0:1 compression ratio with a 38mm Keihin MX carburetor and electronic ignition, with the option for electric or kick starting. The bike had a chain final drive and a steel single-tube cradle frame with a round tube rear frame in light alloy. The front suspension was a Marzocchi “Upside-Down” telescopic hydraulic fork with advanced axle and compression and rebound stroke adjustment, while the rear suspension was a Sachs progressive “Soft Damp” type with single hydraulic shock absorber and spring preload adjustment, compression and rebound adjustment. The front brakes were a single 260mm disc and the rear brakes were a single 220mm disc. The front and rear tires were 90/90-21 and 120/80-18, respectively. The wheelbase was 1485mm and the seat height was 890mm, with a dry weight of 108kg and a fuel capacity of 8 liters.
