The Husqvarna SM 510R is a motorcycle manufactured between 2005 and 2006. It is equipped with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine, with a capacity of 501cc/30.5 cu-in, that is liquid-cooled and has a compression ratio of 12.5:1. The bike features a 41mm Keihin MX carburetor, CDI ignition and an electric starter. It can produce a maximum power of 59.8 hp/44 kW at 8000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 49 Nm/56 lb-ft at 6400 rpm. The clutch is wet, multiplate and there are six gears available in the transmission that uses a chain as the final drive. The frame is made of steel single-tube cradle (round tubes) with a rear frame in light alloy. The suspension is comprised of a 45mm Marzocchi Inverted telescopic hydraulic adjustable fork at the front and a SACHS Progressive “Soft Damp” with Hydraulic Adjustable Single Shock Absorber at the rear. The front and rear brakes are single 320mm and 220mm discs, respectively. The motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1497mm and a seat height of 920mm. It weighs 109.3 kg with a fuel capacity of 9.2 litres/2.4 US GAL.
