The Husaberg FS 550 (2010-12) is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motorcycle with a capacity of 565.5cc. It has a Keihin EFI electronic fuel injection system and Kokusan digital ignition, and is powered by a six-speed transmission with a wet multi-disc clutch. The motorcycle has a double-cradle perimeter design frame made of 25CrMo4, with front and rear suspension provided by WP USD 4860MA Husaberg Enduro and WP PDS 5018 Husaberg Enduro respectively. It has a single 310mm disc front brake and a single 220mm disc rear brake, with 120/70-17 and 150/60-17 front and rear tires respectively.
