Honda XR500 (1980)

The Honda XR 500 is a both powerful and capable dirt bike that was made in the year of 1980. The engine is a four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, four-valve with a capacity of 497cc or 30.3cu-in. It has a maximum power output of 36 horsepower at 6500 RPM, with a maximum torque of 41.4Nm or 4.2kgf-m at 5500 RPM. The engine is kitted with a Keihin 34mm piston valve and CDI ignition. It has a wet plate clutch and a 5-speed transmission system. The frame is composed of welded tubular sections, with front 37mm Showa forks and dual rear shocks to provide smooth suspension on rough terrain. The front and rear brakes are 140 mm and 130 mm drums, respectively, and its tyres are 3.00-21 in the front and 4.10-17 in the rear. Its considered to be an enduring and staunch adventure motorcycle with a renowned reputation for being reliable and winning in races.
