The Honda XR 600R was a four-stroke, single-cylinder motorcycle released in 2000 with a 591 cc engine, producing 46 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 51.9 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It had a 5-speed transmission and a #520 O-ring-sealed chain final drive. The front suspension was a 43mm air-adjustable leading-axle Showa cartridge fork with eight-position compression damping adjustability, while the rear suspension was a Pro-Link single Showa shock with spring preload, 20-position compression, and 20-position rebound damping adjustability. The bike had a front single 256 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper, and a rear single disc with a 1-piston caliper. The Honda XR 600R had a wheelbase of 1455.4 mm and a seat height of 955.0 mm. It weighed 134 kg when dry and 146 kg when wet,with a fuel capacity of 10.5 litres. Its top speed was 143.2 km/h with a standing quarter-mile time of 14.6 seconds at 134.5 km/h.
