Honda XL1000V Varadero (1999-00)

The Honda XL 1000V Varadero motorcycle was produced between 1999 and 2000. It features a four-stroke, 90 degrees V-twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 996cc and bore x stroke of 98 x 66 mm. The bike is liquid cooled, has a compression ratio of 9.8:1, and uses 3x 42mm Keihin CV carbs for induction. The ignition is computer-controlled digital transistorized and the bike starts with an electric starter. The maximum power generated is 94 hp / 69 kW @ 8000 rpm (86.1 hp @ 8000 rpm), with a maximum torque of 99 Nm / 73.0 ft.lbs @ 6000 rpm. The Honda XL 1000V Varadero has front twin 296mm discs and 3-piston calipers for brakes, and a rear single 256mm disc with 3-piston caliper. The tyres are 110/80 R19 for the front and 150/70 R17 for the rear, with a ground clearance of 195mm (7.6 inches). The bike has a maximum speed of 201.6 km/h and an average fuel consumption of 16.4 km/l.
