The Honda VT750C Shadow was a motorcycle model produced in 1985-86 with a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 52-degree V-twin engine and a capacity of 745 cc. It had a maximum power of 68 hp at 7500 rpm and torque of 66 Nm at 6000 rpm. The bike had a wet, multiple discs, cable-operated clutch and 6-speed transmission with a shaft final drive. The double-cradle frame was equipped with a front suspension of 39mm air-assisted forks and rear suspension of dual shocks, with adjustable spring preload and 94mm wheel travel. Front brakes were 2x disc 2 piston calipers and rear brakes were drums. The bike had a wheelbase of 1524 mm, seat height of 710 mm and a wet weight of 228 kg. The fuel capacity was 12.8 litres with an average consumption of 61 mpg. Braking from 60-0 and 100-0 was recorded at 139 ft. The standing 1/4 mile took 12.8 sec at 101 mph, with a top speed of 137 mph. The bike was renowned for its efficiency and power.
