Honda VF1000F (1984)

The Honda VF1000F, also known as the US Interceptor, was a four-stroke motorcycle produced in 1984. The engine was a 90 degree V-four cylinder with dual overhead cams and four valves per cylinder, giving a capacity of 998cc. The bike was liquid-cooled, had a compression ratio of 10.5:1 and used a 4x 34mm CV type induction system with CDI ignition. The electric starting bike had a maximum power output of 122hp at 10,000rpm and max torque of 89.4Nm at 8000rpm, with a 5-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The bike had a front suspension of 41mm air adjustable forks with dual Syntallic bushings, 3-way adjustable rebound damping and TRAC, and a rear suspension of Pro-Link with 3-way adjustable rebound damping.
