Honda V4X Concept (2012)

The Honda VFR 1200X Crosstourer Special Edition is a motorcycle model released in 2012 with a four-stroke, 1237cc V4 engine. It has a compression ratio of 12.0:1 and uses PGM-FI electronic fuel injection with a 44mm throttle bore. Its ignition is computer-controlled digital transistorised with electronic advance ignition timing at 8.4 degrees BTDC at idle speed. The bike has a wet, multiplate clutch, six-speed transmission with shaft final drive with gear ratios varying from 2.600 to 0.897. The frame of the motorcycle is diamond-shaped, with aluminium twin-spar, and it has front suspension with telescopic forks with hydraulic damping, preload and rebound damping adjustment, while the rear suspension is Pro-Link with gas-charged damper, preload and stepless rebound damping adjustment. The motorcycle has a weight of 275 kg, a ground clearance of 180 mm, and it can take up to 21 litres of fuel. The VFR 1200X Crosstourer SE has a length of 2285mm, a width of 915mm, and a height of 1335mm, with a wheelbase of 1595mm and a seat height of 850mm. It is available in two colours – Pearl Sunbeam White and Digital Silver Metallic.
