The Honda NV 400 Custom was a motorcycle made in 1983. It had a liquid-cooled four-stroke V-twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 349 cc and 21.2 cu-in. The engine had a compression ratio of 10.5:1 and an induction system of VD6R. The ignition was CDI and starting was electric. It could produce a maximum power of 43 hp and 32 kW at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 3.5 kgf-m at 7500 rpm. The transmission had 6-speed with a wet multi-plate coil spring clutch and a final drive by chain. The front suspension was telescopic forks and rear suspension was swinging arm with a single front disc and rear drum brakes. The front tyre was 3.50-18 and the rear tyre was 130/90-16 with a seat height of 750 mm and dry weight of 181 kg. It had a fuel capacity of 11 litres or 2.9 US gallons.
