Honda CX 650 Custom (1979-83)

The Honda CX 650 Custom motorcycle was produced from 1979 to 1983. It had a four-stroke longitudinal 800 V-twin cylinder engine with a camshaft nestled at the base of the V between the cylinders. The engine was OHV and had four valves per cylinder, which were operated by pushrods. The bike had a capacity of 673 cc and a bore x stroke of 82.5 x 63 mm. It had a liquid cooling system and a compression ratio of 9.8:1. The induction system consisted of 2x 39mm Keihin carburetors and the ignition was CDI. The bike had a maximum power output of 64 hp at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 61 Nm at 6500 rpm. The transmission was five-speed and the final drive was via a shaft.
