The Honda CBX1000 Pro Link was produced in 1981 and had a four-stroke engine with a capacity of 1047cc. It had a six-cylinder engine with DOHC and 4 valves per cylinder, able to produce a powerful 98 hp at 9000rpm. The bike featured air cooling and had 6x 28mm Keihin carbs for induction. It was capable of reaching a top speed of 127 mph and achieved an average fuel consumption of 31.7 mpg. The bike had a five-speed transmission and a chain final drive, with gear ratios of 1st 12.90, 2nd 9.26, 3rd 7.35, 4th 6.35 and 5th 5.49. The front suspension was air-assisted fork with 160mm/6.1 in wheel travel and the rear suspension was a pro-link adjustable single shock with a 3-way rebound. The brakes were 2x276mm discs at the front and a single 296mm disc at the rear. Dry weight was 277kg/600lbs with a wet weight of 308kg/680lbs. The bike had a fuel capacity of 22 litres and was capable of reaching a standing quarter mile in 12.4 seconds at 108 mph. Overall, the Honda CBX1000 Pro Link was a powerful motorcycle with impressive performance capabilities.
