Honda CBR900RR Fireblade (1997)

The 1997 Honda CBR900RR Fireblade is a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder motorcycle with a 919cc engine, DOHC and four valves per cylinder. It has a compression ratio of 11.1:1 and is fitted with liquid cooling, lubrication, and a 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust. The bike is powered by 96.9 kW/130 hp @ 10500rpm and produces maximum torque of 92 Nm/9.4 kg fm/67.9 lb.ft @ 10000rpm. The transmission is six-speed with a # 525 chain, and there’s a 108 link final drive. The Fireblade is known for its drag-reducing front mudguard, which was the same design as the one on Honda’s NSR500 GP bike. It was ridden by Phillip McCallen, who won the 1996 and 1997 Production TTs on the bike.
