The Highland 950 V2 Outback motorcycle was manufactured between 2003 and 2005. It has a four stroke, 60 degrees V-Twin engine with a capacity of 936 cc. The engine features DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, fuel injection and an integrated engine management system with ignition coils fitted directly on the spark plugs. The bike generates a maximum power of 85 hp at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 104Nm at 4700 rpm. The bike has a lubricated multi-disc clutch and a six-speed transmission with a final drive chain. The frame of the bike is made of rectangular section, CrMo steel and aluminium, while the front suspension comprises a 50mm WP that is adjustable for compression and rebound with 280mm wheel travel. The rear suspension is a WP with adjustable stiffness, compression, and rebound and 300mm wheel travel. The bike has a front single 300mm disc with 2 piston calipers brake and the rear brakes are single 220mm disc with 1 piston calipers. The bike has a wheelbase of 1530mm, a seat height of 910mm, and ground clearance of 300mm with a dry weight of 165 kgs. The bike has a fuel capacity of 5.2 US gal (20 liters), while the front and rear tires respectively measure 90/90-21 and 150/70-18.
