Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy 114 – 115th Anniversary (2018)

Harley Davidson has released a new motorcycle, the Softail Fat Boy 114 as part of the brand’s 115th anniversary celebration. The bike is equipped with a four-stroke, V-twin engine with a capacity of 1868cc, producing a maximum torque of 155Nm at 3500rpm. The ignition system is single-fire with a non-wasted, map-controlled spark ignition while the transmission features six gears with a primary drive of chain and a final drive of belt. The Softail Fat Boy 114 has a rake of 30 degrees, a trail of 104mm, a ground clearance of 115mm, and a seat height of 675mm. The bike weighs 317kg when wet, and the oil capacity and fuel capacity of the motorcycle are 4.7 litres and 18.9 litres, respectively. The front suspension has Showa inverted forks, and the rear suspension is adjustable with a mono-shock system. The front brakes have two discs with four piston calipers, while the rear brake has one disc with two piston calipers. The Softail Fat Boy 114 has a machined, Lakester cast aluminium, 240/40R18, 79V, BW rear tyre and a 160/60R18, 70V, BW front tyre. With a maximum lean angle of 25.6 degrees both left and right, this motorcycle is a comfortable, yet powerful option for cruising the open road.
