Harley Davidson FXSTB/I Softail Night Train (1999-01)

The Harley Davidson FXSTB/I Softail Night Train motorcycle was produced from 1999 to 2001. It had a four-stroke, 45 degree V-twin, Twin Cam 88 engine with a capacity of 1449 cc and a compression ratio of 8.9:1. The engine was cooled by air and had pushrod-operated overhead valves with hydraulic self-adjusting lifters and two valves per cylinder. The exhaust was staggered shorty duals and the lubrication system was dry sump with a crank driven gerotor pressure and dual scavenge pump with spin-on pressurised oil filter.
