The Cagiva Elefant 125 was a motorcycle released in 1989. It had a two stroke, single cylinder engine with a capacity of 125 cc and a compression ratio of 12.9:1. The bike was equipped with a single Dell’Orto premix carburetor and electronic ignition, with a maximum power output of 23.6 hp at 9100 rpm and max torque of 1.8 kgf-m at 8000 rpm. The transmission included six speeds and the final drive was via chain. The bike had Telescopic forks for its front suspension and a swinging arm shock for its rear suspension. The front brake was a single 240mm disc and the rear had a single 130mm drum. The front tyre was 2.75-21 and the rear was 4.60-17. The dry weight of the bike was 125 kg and it had a fuel capacity of 14 litres or 3.7 US gallons.
